State Wide Area Network (SWAN) is an initiative of Government to provide common e-Governance infrastructure in every state across the country. While providing these services the reliability & security of the services become a critical issue. This document provides detailed steps to make secure the SWAN to a reasonable level and covers the preparation, implementation and administration of the Information Security Policy for SWAN and Data Centre.
