Multiple Vulnerabilities in NetScaler ADC and Gateway

Software Affected

  • NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway 14.1 versions prior to 14.1-43.56
  • NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway 13.1 versions prior to 13.1-58.32
  • NetScaler ADC 12.1-FIPS versions prior to 12.1-55.328-FIPS

Note: NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway versions 12.1 and 13.0 are now End of Life (EOL)

Overview

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway, which could allow attackers to gain unauthorised access to sensitive data on affected systems.

Target Audience:
Organizations running any of the affected NetScaler ADC or NetScaler Gateway versions.

Risk Assessment:
High risk of unauthorised access to sensitive data.

Impact Assessment:
Potential for memory corruption and sensitive information disclosure.

Description

Citrix NetScaler is a tool for application delivery, security, and optimization. It helps organisations ensure that their applications are available, secure, and performing optimally.

Multiple vulnerabilities exist in NetScaler ADC and NetScaler Gateway due to Insufficient input validation and Improper access control on the NetScaler Management Interface.

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow attackers to gain unauthorised access to sensitive data on affected systems.

 Note: After upgrading, administrators should run the following commands to terminate all active ICA and PCoIP sessions:
kill icaconnection -all
kill pcoipConnection -all
