Overview
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP which could be exploited by an attacker to trigger data manipulation and security restriction bypass on the targeted system.
Description
These vulnerabilities exist in PHP due to improper input validation, issues while interpreting data via HTTP POST request and issues in log entries generation by child process. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by sending specially crafted HTTP request. Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to trigger data manipulation and security restriction bypass on the targeted system.
Note: The vulnerability (CVE-2024-8926) exists due to incomplete fix for vulnerability (CVE-2024-4577).
