A denial of Service vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Remote desktop protocol. This vulnerability could be exploited by malicious remote attacker to cause Denial of service attack.
The Remote Desktop Protocol is used to create virtual sessions on users computer allowing remote access to their computer from other computer systems. The RDP protocol is implemented by Terminal services in Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003 and Remote Desktop Sharing services in Windows XP. A vulnerability exists due to improper handling of Remote Desktop requests.
