Overview

A vulnerability has been reported in Wireshark versions 1.0.4 and prior, which could be exploited by the remote attackers to cause Denial of Service attacks.

Description

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the implementation SMTP dissector in Wireshark versions 1.0.4 and prior, which could be exploited to perform Denial of Service attack on the system having the affected version of the application.
