Overview
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG); successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could elevate privileges on vulnerable system to conduct spoofing and cross-site scripting attacks.
Description
Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) delivers comprehensive, secure remote access to corporate resources on both managed and unmanaged PCs and mobile devices. It can utilize a combination of connectivity options, ranging from SSL VPN to DirectAccess. It enforces granular access controls and policies to deliver comprehensive remote access, ensure security, centralized and easy management.
Forefront UAG provides a number of front-end portals to allow a wide range of endpoint devices to access the applications that are published by the administrator. The mobile portals correspond to mobile endpoint devices. Forefront UAG mobile portal is not on by default.
1. UAG Redirection Spoofing Vulnerability

This is a spoofing vulnerability which is caused when the UAG web interface fails to validate and confirm redirection to an external Web site.An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could impersonate a legitimate UAG Web interface and trick the user into entering their credentials or sensitive information.
2. UAG XSS Allows EOP Vulnerability

This is a non-persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability which is caused due to errors in properly validating user-supplied input in URLs processed by the Forefront Unified Access Gateway Web Monitor component. The component may return unfiltered input received via URLs to the users browser.An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could inject a client-side script in the users browser. The script could spoof content, disclose information, or take any action that the user could take on the affected Web site on behalf of the targeted user.
3. XSS Issue on UAG Mobile Portal Website in Forefront Unified Access Gateway Vulnerability

This is a non-persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability which is caused due to improper sanitization of parameters supplied via URL to the Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG) Mobile Portal Website component before returning the parameters to the user. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could inject a client-side script in the users browser. The script could spoof content, disclose information, or take any action that the user could take on the affected Web site on behalf of the targeted user.
4. XSS in Signurl.asp Vulnerability

This is a non-persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability which is caused due to errors in processing input supplied to the signurl.asp script via URLs. The script fails to properly sanitize supplied input before returning the input to the user.An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could inject a client-side script in the users browser. The script could spoof content, disclose information, or take any action that the user could take on the affected Web site on behalf of the targeted user.
