Overview
A denial of service vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows ASP.NET due to insufficient randomization of hash functions when handling specially crafted POST form data.
Description
The vulnerability occurs due to the way that ASP.NET processes values in an ASP.NET form post that causes a hash collision. (ASP.NET uses the Request.Form object of class NameValueCollection.to provide POST data to a web application developer).
An unauthenticated attacker could send a small number of specifically crafted ASP.NET form posts to an affected ASP.NET site, causing a denial of service condition.
