Overview
A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft windows Audio Service which could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges.
Description
The vulnerability is caused due to improper validation of permissions by Internet Explorer under specific conditions. The remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges on target system by convincing the user to visit specially crafted webpage. The attacker could use the privileges in conjunction with other vulnerability that allows remote code execution on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will allow an attacker to conduct further attacks.
