Overview
A Vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows Kerberos which could allow an attacker to bypass security restrictions.
Description
This vulnerability exists due to improper authentication checks by the Kerberos feature of Microsoft Windows. A local attacker who has physical access to the target system could exploit the vulnerability by connecting the system to a malicious Kerberos Key Distribution Center (KDC). Successful exploitation of the vulnerability could allow an attacker to decrypt sensitive information that is otherwise protected by the BitLocker feature.
Note: Only domain-joined systems having BitLocker enabled without a PIN or USB key are affected.
