Overview

Remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Exchange which could be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the logged in user on a targeted system.

Description

Microsoft Exchange Remote Code Execution Vulnerability ( CVE-2019-1373   )

A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way that Exchange deserializes metadata via PowerShell. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the currently logged in user.
For exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker would require that a user runs cmdlets via PowerShell.
