Overview

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in POST file module of Drupal which could allow an attacker to conduct cross site request forgery attacks, cross site scripting attacks or conduct remote code execution on the target system.

All end-users and Administrators using Drupal

High risk of sensitive data, data breaches.

Potential for confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.

Description

Drupal is an open-source content management system (CMS) which allows businesses, individuals, and organizations to create, manage, and maintain websites and web applications. Drupal uses various modules which enhance and extend the core functionality of the system. These modules help in customizing and adding specific features to a Drupal website.

These vulnerabilities exist in the POST file module of Drupal due to improper validation of user input. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by injecting malicious scripts resulting in cross site request forgery attacks, cross site scripting attacks or conduct remote code execution on the target system.
