Overview

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in VBullet which could allow an attacker to bypass security restrictions and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.

Target Audience:
All end-user organizations and individuals using VBullet.

Impact Assessment:
Potential complete compromise of system.

Description

vBulletin is a proprietary internet forum software that enables users to create and manage online communities with discussion boards and user-generated content.
Multiple  vulnerabilities exists in VBullet which could be exploited an attacker by sending specially crafted web requests.

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to bypass security restrictions and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.

Note: This vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-48827, CVE-2025-48828) are being exploited in the wild. Users are advised to apply patches/mitigation urgently.
