Remote Code Execution Vulnerability in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager

Systems Affected

  • Access Rights Manager version 2026.2 and prior.

Overview

A vulnerability exists in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager which could allow an unauthenticated attacker to perform remote code execution on the affected systems.

Target Audience:
All organizations and individuals using SolarWinds Access Rights Manager.
 
Risk Assessment:
High risk of remote code execution on affected systems.

Impact Assessment:
High impact on Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the system.

Description

SolarWinds Access Rights Manager is an IT security and compliance software to provision, analyse and audit user access rights across infrastructures.

A remote code execution vulnerability exists in SolarWinds Access Rights Manager due to improper key management. An attacker on the same local or shared network, could access the hardcoded static key to perform remote code execution on the system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow the attacker to execute code and exploit the affected systems.
