Authentication Bypass Vulnerability in BeyondTrust Remote Support

Overview

Authentication Bypass vulnerability has been reported in BeyondTrust Remote Support, which could allow a remote attacker to perform unauthorized file operations on the targeted system.

All end-user organizations and individuals using BeyondTrust Remote Support.

Potential for compromise on confidentiality and integrity of the system.

Impact Assessment:
Potential for unauthorized file operations.

Description

BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) is a remote support solution that enables organizations to remotely access systems and provide technical support to users.

Authentication bypass vulnerability has been reported in BeyondTrust Remote Support due to improper validation of the origin of the messages it received. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to perform unauthorized file operations on the targeted system.
