A one day workshop on "IPv6 Security" was held on 16-12-2016 for Government Departments and Ministries. Aim of the workshop was to create awareness on the IPv6 security issues. The workshop dealt with the current attack trends on IPv6,DDos attacks on IPv6 and mitigation strategies. CISOs, Senior IT Officers, System and Network Administrators from Government Departments and Ministries attended the workshop.

Workshop on "Secure Coding Practices" on November 18, 2016

A workshop on " Secure Coding Practices" was held on 18-11-2016 at CERT-In exclusively for the Public Sector organisations. Aim of the workshop was to create an awareness on secure coding practices so that the software application developed is free from harmful bugs and vulnerabilities. The workshop also dwelt on the existing coding standards and practices. IT Professionals, CISO, and System & Network administrators of various Public Sector organisation attended the workshop.

Workshop on "Cyber Security Threats & Cyber Forensics" on October 26, 2016

A workshop on " Cyber Security Threats & Cyber Forensics" was conducted on 26th October 2016 at CERT-In, exclusively for the Army War College, Mhow. Aim of the workshop was to give exposure to current cyber security threats, attack trends and mitigations strategies. The workshop also included the visit to the CERT-In forensic lab and briefing on various tools and techniques used in cyber forensics. Senior officer trainees comprising from the Army, Air force and Navy attended the Workshop.

A one day workshop was conducted on "Advanced Targeted Attacks" on 29-7-2016, for Government Departments and Ministries. Aim of the workshop was to give an overview of the current attack trends, techniques, and their mitigations strategies. The workshop emphasized upon the current sophisticated malware attacks, other advanced malware attacks like "Ransomwares" their detection, containment and prevention strategies and best practices. A workshop on "Encrypted Traffic & Hidden Threats" was conducted on 25-2-2016 for Government Departments & Ministries. Aim of the workshop was to give an overview of the current attack trends, vulnerabilities, and threats present in the Secure Socket Layer (SSL).The workshop dealt with the issue of the increasing usage of the SSL/TLS by the Cyber criminals to hide their attacks, evade detection, and bypass security controls. The workshop also discussed how these can be mitigated by configuring security monitoring system & security devices to use SSL decryption/inspection tools . Senior Government officials, CISOs, System/Network Administrators from Government Departments & Ministry attended the workshop.
