Multiple Linux Kernel vulnerabilities in NetApp Products

Overview

Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in NetApp Products which could allow a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information and cause Denial of Service (DoS) conditions on the targeted system.

All organizations and individuals using NetApp products

Disclosure of sensitive information or unavailability of service

Description

Multiple NetApp products incorporate Linux kernel. Multiple vulnerabilities exist in the NetApp products due to improper initialization during the processing of the NEXTHDR_FRAGMENT header and insufficient header pull operation by pskb_inet_may_pull() function resulting  multiple instances of uninitialized values in Linux Kernel respectively.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information and cause Denial of Service (DoS) conditions on the targeted system.
