A one day workshop on "Cyber Crisis Management Plan" was conducted on 29-6-2018 at CERT-In,    for selected  states and Ministries. Aim of the workshop was to enable the participating Central Ministries/Departments/States and Organization to develop their own Cyber Crisis Management Plan  to counter large scale cyber attacks. CISOs and IT Heads of various state governments and Ministries attended the workshop.

A one day workshop on "Cyber Threat Hunting with Analytics" was conducted at CERT-In on 14-6-2018 for government departments and ministries. A one day workshop on "Cyber Threats & Countermeasures" was conducted on 7th March 2018 at CERT-In  for the  officers of Army War College, MHOW. Aim of the workshop was to give an exposure to current cyber security threats, attack trends and mitigation strategies. The workshop also included visit to the CERT-In "Cyber Forensic Lab" and briefing on various tools and techniques used for cyber forensics. Senior Officer trainees from the Army, Air Force and Navy attended the workshop.

Aim of the workshop was to give an overview of current attack trends,  tools and techniques employed by hackers and their mitigation strategies.   The above workshop at CERT-In  also provided unique insight into the world of the Darknet, specific customer attack stories, new economic models of measuring security deployments and a refreshed look at how controls should be deployed. The aim of this workshop was to enable both experienced and novice mobile application developers steer away from security and reliability pitfalls in their code while delivering efficient and robust applications. The workshop also had a hands on session on secure coding to identify software flaws in some sample android codes. CISOs, Senior IT officers, System and Network Administrators  from Government Department/Ministries and Android Developers from different industries/organizations attended the workshop.

Aim of the workshop was to make the participants aware about how the Social Media is being misused to commit frauds such as Identity Thefts, phishing etc. The workshop also dealt with the modus operandi of various financial frauds being committed and steps that needs to be taken for their mitigation.
